It is impossible to find employees willing to work for what the dismal hourly rate of pay in northern Virginia. High school Babysitters under 18 make this per hour and it’s not taxed nor are they working with disabled kids with physical and behavioral issues.  Our kids present issues that make finding suitable aids impossible, and combined with the low rate of pay, means we simply cannot find suitable help. We are suffering needlessly when the solution was found, parental aids.  Please keep paid parental aids, don’t seek to balance a budget on the backs of the the disabled population.
