Do not make the COVID shot mandatory.  It's not necessary for low-risk individuals (like kids) or people living in low-risk households.  There's no long-term study on the risk or benefits, especially for kids.  I've known parents who give their kid the all the COVID shots and the kid still gets COVID, while unvaccinated kids don't get it at all.  Let parents be parents and make health care decisions for our kids.  We know what's best for them!
