Democracy depends upon a populace that is engaged.  It needs to have every voice heard.  Recent proposals to make it more difficult for an absentee ballot to be counted are undemocratic.  There is no evidence that voter fraud has been committed through sloppy signatures.  Count the votes the way common sense dictates that they should be counted.
