I travel extensively with my job and on several occasions have had to file an absentee ballot.  I believe it is my civic duty to vote and have made a point of watching all debates and making myself well-informed of the issues and candidates so that I can make an informed choice when casting my ballot.  Now, to find out that my ballot could be disqualified as a result of something as minor as poor penmanship is truly disturbing.  The last time I checked, this country and state were are still a democracy.  We should be looking at ways to increase voter turnout and accessibility to the vote, not finding ways to prevent voting.  What are you people thinking?  I will not cast a vote for anyone associated with trying to destroy the democracy I so value.
