Governor Youngkin should not remove Virginia from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative outside of the General Assembly. He does not have the authority.
Removing VA from RGGI would cut off the only current funding source for the Community Flood Preparedness Fund (CFPF).
RGGI has already demonstrated that protecting the environment can go hand in hand with growing the economy.
