I strongly oppose approval of this measure. No adoption agency should be forced to approve foster care or adoption by a prospective individual regardless of whether that individual shares the agency's moral beliefs and judgements. How can this possibly be in the interest of the child? Common sense dictates that it should be left to the agency to determine the suitability of prospective parents, and that agency should be able to consider all relevant information that could effect the child. It is the child's welfare, not political correctness, that we are concerned about right?
