Virginia’s Marriage Amendment to the Constitution describes who can adopt a child. The current proposal, which includes prohibition of discrimination based on sexual orientation, stands in direct opposition to the Constitution and Virginia Code. I am strongly opposed to the proposed changes in regard to the inclusion of language relating to sexual orientation.
