The proposed regulatory changes regarding sexual orientation as a protected class run in direct oppostion to the general welfare and protection of the children it purports to benefit. It is unfortunate that the Department of Social Services would even consider an attempt to compel private, church-run adoption agencies (among others) to agree with social constructs that are morally objectionable, unproven and illogical as viewed from the perspective of such adoption service providers and the general population of this Commonwealth as a whole. The Department should drop the sexual orientation language from the proposal and focus on the children it serves. Thank you.
