Changing the wording to include sexual orientation is morally repugnant and violates the rights of a religious organization, such as Catholic Charities. Forcing these new changes will result in Catholic Charities no longer placing children in the Commonwealth, which would be a detriment to our state. Many of the women that turn to Catholic Charities are considering abortion as an option and further loss of life will be the result.  There are many secular options for non-traditional "families" already, and this Action would place undo hardships on an organization that is morally obligated to uphold the standard definition of family. This redefines the word "family" and many of us in the Commonwealth do not appreciate this course. I personally vote in EVERY election and will be watching to see how the vote goes. Please consider carefully before voting to redefine the word family.
