Opposition to Minimum Standards for Licensed Private Child-Placing Agencies [22 VAC 40

I oppose and I encourage you to oppose governmental regulations that impose secular standards on faith based organizations.  The cry of the liberal left is "Separation of church and state".  But, now they want to intrude into an area protected by our constitution and impose regulations (for adoption screening) that are diametrically opposed to Christian standards of belief and conduct.

This is a divisive regulation which poses a threat to the long established moral and ethical standards of our nation.  We, as a nation, might be drifting and have drifted away from our moral foundations, but this proposal is a government intrusion into our private lives that threatens our freedom at basic levels.

The founding patriots were pushed into an untenable situation and the results were dramatic and disastrous for many.  Those in power (on the left or right) should not repeat those tactics.  It could prove to be, at least, as divisive, dramtic and disastrous for our nation, today.
