I strongly oppose the action (22VAC40-131-170 Part B) to put in place minimum standards for child adoption agencies that includes in the wording "The licensee shall prohibit acts of discrimination based on race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, political beliefs, sexual orientation, disbaility or family status..." This would restrict the Catholic Church from adhering to the teachings of the Church... limiting our freedom to practice our faith.  Ultimately the Catholic agencies would have to pull out of adoptions.
