I am writing to oppose this requirement which would require agencies to accept homosexual couples as appropriate parents for foster and adoptable children.  There is plenty of evidence available to support my claim that a traditional family situation creates the best environment for the healthy raising of children.  Children who have already been in dire situations, need a stable enviromnet within which to begin to heal.   The largest organizations providing these services are christian and catholic organizations which would then be eliminated throught this requirement.  I urge you, if you truly have the children's interest at heart, not to approve this regulation.
