At one time I thought that the interim reports were useful, because we were able to question our client’s income and other questionable information, but now since policy has changed so much, there really is no need for the reports. We are so constricted on what we can and cannot ask, plus all the paperwork and contact with our client that is involved during the 60 day time period, it would probably be easier to either change the reporting requirements to make them stricter, or find another solution. I do not however believe that going to 6 month recerts are going to fix the problem either, because the workers will just get too overwhelmed by all the appointments.
