OPPOSE

I oppose for two main reasons.

1) LGBTQIA people, stories, topics and content will be unfairly targeted and labeled as sexually explicit.

2) Schools already have procedures in place to give parents and students a voice, a choice and options. In our school district parents can request librarians block their children from accessing specific books. Teachers already provide a variety of books as alternative options should a parent or student object to one assigned. Notifications are already required for rated R movie showings in high school.
