Opposition to Model Policies Concerning Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content

Hi, I’m writing this comment to express my opposition to the Model Policies Concerning Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content, specifically the section that refers to homosexuality as sexually explicit. Just because the word contains sex, doesn’t mean it is sexually explicit, especially if you accept heterosexual content. The Virginia government shouldn’t be hiding their homophobic agendas behind a legitimate concern of some parents that some content in school materials may be inappropriate for children.
