Oppose the "explicit material policy"

Stop legislating teaching materials for Virginia's schools. We have one of the best school systems AND business climates in the country for a reason and those reasons don't include graduating kids not equipped to be mature, kind and smart members of society. Parents have always had the choice to opt their child out of whatever materials they want in the classroom and these new policies seem to only now exist to gin up anger and division. If homophobic parents want to ensure their kids grow up to be intolerant of others, that's on them. You may not use my tax dollars, however, to make all of Virginia's children that way because a few fearful few.
