Stop Interfering With Parents Rights Concerning Children

Parents have the natural rights to bring up their children as they see fit. Most parents want their children to be educated in a wholesome environment, where Jude’s-Christian values are demonstrated, although not taught.

As the father of four children, I was taken aback when a teacher convinced one of my children, at age 10, that she was a lesbian because she didn’t have a boyfriend yet. This led to tremendous strife in our family, along with over seven years of therapy - having to change therapists several times as most of them wanted to “affirm” her sexuality.  It wasn’t until she met a boy she really liked when she realized she was heterosexual; today she is happily married to a wonderful man.

Schools need to return to education and stop indoctrination of children who are easily led. If a parent wants to “affirm” their child’s sexuality, it’s their decision; but if a parent doesn’t want to do so, the government should NEVER step into a family’s business, absent one member breaking the law.

please do not implement these changes to Title IX, as it will only hurt young women, while also hurting families.
