I support model policies that defer to parental authority

Parents are the best decision makers in regards to appropriate content for their children. Parents are in the best position to gauge their child's readiness, maturity and emotional development in handling and understanding sensitive content.  Systems/processes must be put in place in our schools to allow parents to be the primary decision makers in regards to any type of sexual content.  I support the model policies concerning instructional materials with sexually explicit content.
