Support for policies regarding sexually explicit material in schools

I appreciate and support this initiative to include parents in their children's education, in this case as it pertains to sexually explicit content. To the DOE and school boards, please ensure there is parental notification of any instructional material that includes sexually explicit content. I am a mother of four and a pediatric nurse and see this as an important step in protecting children and adolescents from unnecessary harm and also for building trust and mutual respect as partners between educators and families.

Thank you for your work on this.
