As a person who interacts with high school students daily I am opposed to this act. In addition to my regular position with my school I’m also the theatre/Thespian advisor. This will negatively impact the productions I will be able to present. Theatre is a reflection of real life, and to forbid young adults from the opportunity to delve into life situations they’ll be dealing with daily after leaving a scholastic environment will handicap them. Allow the professionals in education to make the correct decisions regarding more mature materials.
