Parents should also communicate their values to their kids. Unless these kids live in a bubble they will hear or see something somewhere since we live in a free society (e.g. news, grocery store, playground, etc).. So talk to your kids. It should be an ongoing conversation that starts in the toddler years. The age that kids have their first period is earlier than it used to be. The youngest person to have a baby was only five years old. And statutory rape cases like this happen more likely with a family member, close friend or neighbor who targets a child who doesn’t know about their body. Not talking about it harms kids more than it hurts. But at the end of the day, if u want to block this information from your child you need to be the one to reach out and take action to prevent your kids from accessing this information. All it takes is an email or phone call. Blocking a subject for everyone is extreme and against the first amendment of the constitution. Seriously this is government overreach
