I strongly oppose Senate Bill 656. It provides an opportunity to label LGBTQ+ materials as "sexually explicit" by those who wish to censor and silence those voices. It will harm children who are LGBTQ+, it will harm children who have family and friends who are LGBTQ+, and it will harm children who will grow up to share a world with LGBTQ+ citizens. In other words, it will harm ALL children and will have deep and far-reaching negative consequences. Don't let hate block the freedom to read and to learn.
