This is not about censorship but about parental rights. Parents have the right to:
1.  Be notified about sexual content in books and teaching materials,

and

2. Be permitted to review instructional material that includes sexually explicit content and provide, as an alternative, nonexplicit instructional material and related academic activities to any student whose parent so requests.

The will of schools and teachers do not trump the rights of parents. This is NOT censorship!
