What are they trying to hide?

I strongly support SB656. Parents absolutely should be notified about sexually explicit material in the classroom. We have to be notified and sign a permission slip for a PG-13 movie. Why are people so against telling parents what’s happening in schools? What are the schools hiding? And how on earth does one get from informing parents about sexually explicit materials to rejecting LGBTQ experiences?? That entire discussion just goes to show how impactful it is that students in VA are not being educated. Clearly there is a serious problem with reading comprehension and critical thinking.
