NO to sexually explicit materials in schools-- focus on EDUCATION.

As a teacher of over 30 years, I am deeply upset at the low standards of academics and behavior in many of our schools and among our students. Many times high school students have told me confidently, "The US has 52 states-- 50, and Alaska and Hawaii made 51 and 52." I have seen students confused by the words "where" and "were" and "we're" in their writing. We need to focus on TRUE EDUCATION, and not political correctness and showing porn and sexually explicit materials in school. If we focus on giving our young people at least a decent education in a safe and positive environment, that will keep all the teachers and administrators very busy.  Thank you.
