Senate Bill 656 is a move in the right direction to improve our schools.  Parents should be informed when their children are to be exposed to sexually explicit materials and parents should have no hinderances in making decisions regarding their child's exposure to same.  Senate Bill 656 would help parents be prepared to answer questions their children may have about this content or, as clearly parents would know best when their children are ready to receive such instruction, to choose an alternative.  Senate Bill 656 is in the best interest of students and families.
