Parents need the right to decide what their child views in school

I support parent's rights to know, review and request alternate materials if they are sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise harmful to the innocence or character of a young child. Honestly, there is no place in elementary schools for ANYTHING of a sexual nature! Our public schools should not be "teaching" anything that isn't related to fundamental knowledge needed for their future - and no, anything sexual is not fundamental knowledge. We need to get out of the grooming business and back into teaching basic and time-tested curriculum.
