I operate a childcare center which has been operating throughout the pandemic.  We have had cases over the past two years and have seen no difference in transmission between the classrooms with masks on children and without. The DOLI standards made caring for the children very difficult.  Masking teachers is harmful to child development, especially speech. Children need to see faces for social, emotional and language development.   Please revoke 16VAC25-220, Proposed Permanent Standard.
