No to mandates

To whom it may concern, I am deeply troubled by the push to mandate vaccinations for children. The fatality rate for children under 18 is .0007%. And yet we want to push an expire tomorrow on our youngest citizens? The Phase III clinical trials for all 3 vaccines won’t be complete until 2023; we have no idea what long term risks may occur. But we do know, so far, that teenage boys are at risk for heart disease. Why take that risk when their risk of Covid is so low, and we are starting to see that the vaccines don’t make a significant impact on transmission?

If parents want to opt for thr vaccine, they absolutely should  but for parents that have legitimate concerns, they shouldn’t be forced to jump hoops or have to ignore their parental intuition. Big Pharma has profited off of Americans for too long  I hope you’ll offer Virginians a middle ground, and the freedom to make the best choice for their family
