So much of this polarized environment (and current issues with supply chain and distribution channels) could've been avoided had the federal and local government stayed in their lane. Most of the people taking issue [with this petition and the authoritarian executive orders imposed on citizens over the last year and a half] are NOT anti-vaccine. They are anti mandated-vaccine. Had the government provided the vaccine and marketed its availability without the no-vaccine-travel-ban and petitions to mandate the vaccine like this one, most people on this petition would probably be vaccinated. I don't understand why COVID has been the platform and vehicle for this invasion of privacy and the (not so gradual) chipping away at basic freedoms. Why is the "my body my right" argument okay for one topic but unacceptable for this topic? What I'm hearing from Kristin Collins is "your body my right". If you want to make a difference and have your power trip too, force people to stop smoking.
