Doctors suggest treatments, even rightly so and strongly at times, but the patients still gets to say no if they wish. A vaccine mandate violates the principles of democracy.

Smoking, guns, drunk driving, sex activity in young people have all harmed far more of the young generation than COVID. We don't like what those things do to children (and adults), but we have "tolerated" those things. We have even eased up on marijuana, increasing the likelihood of child exposure to brain-damaging drugs. Those should garner our attention.
