100% against the mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations for students and educators in the state of Virginia

Dear Virginia State Board of Health,

I am opposed to mandating Covid-19 vaccinations for anyone in our state and nation, but especially for students and teachers of all ages. I have personally witnessed several severe reactions to these vaccinations, one of them, being a student within Virginia. The vaccinations are highly ineffective in prohibiting the virus from spreading, and I have personally witnessed several friends and family of mine that have contracted Covid-19 while fully vaccinated, and in some cases they were severe where they had to be hospitalized. Furthermore, this vaccination has not been researched enough to warrant a mandate in the educational setting and in our state and nation period. I am appalled at the lack of research and lack of courage that I have witnessed in a totally political game. These are lives and people's lifestyles, as well as educational careers at risk. I respectfully ask you to reconsider and stand up to the political games that are being played, or there will be prices that you will pay when it comes to student and teacher attendance.  May God have mercy on this nation and this state for the choices that they have been forced to make and I pray for wisdom and justice as you move forward with this decision.

Thank you,

Drema Jefferson
