I have both a 13 year old boy and a 15 year old girl who attend Hayfield Secondary School. They have both been fully vaccinated(both shots) since before school started. My daughter has been a close contact atleast one time and they both have been in the same building as others with confirmed Covid-19 cases. I don't think it is fair for them to be exposed to the possibility of someone who is sick solely because they or their parents think the vaccine has "alien" or other ingredients. If they don't want the vaccine, then those children can stay home. Some may say those children deserve to go to school, to them I say my children also deserve to go to school each day without worrying if they will be exposed.
There are other vaccines required to go to school, why not add this one too?
