Unlike the current childhood immunizations, the available vaccines safety has not been determined on a long-term basis. Despite what mainstream media and politicians profess, who have no more medical credibility than a non-medical constituent weighing in on the subject, these are the facts. Childhood vaccines have been in place for over 40 years. Many were revised in their structure and content after initial release due to unexpected, in some cases serious and long-term side-effects. Now we have nearly forty years of mass usage to validate efficacy and safety. This is not the case with the current COVID vaccines. The petition to drive mandates is one not based on established scientific precedent but rather based in fear on the part of those who do not understand the intricacies of the new vaccine development, deployment, and surveillance and by politicians deliberately pandering to sperate political interest groups in an attempt control and divide. When the US Congress is mandated to take the vaccine, when the US Postal Service is mandated to take the vaccine, when the Executive Branch specifically the Whitehouse staff and departments within are mandated to take the vaccine, then we can have a talk about government’s role in vaccine mandates and we can then again base it on the science. At this time that is not the case. Until such time, the “do as we say not as we do” hypocrisy of the government is an absolute non-starter. No to the vaccine mandate. Yes, we will fight it every way possible.
