Yes to Vaccine Requirements

Students are already required to be immunized against a slew of dangerous diseases like measles, mumps, meningitis, polio, and many others in order to attend school. Covid is no different. It's a deadly disease and the path to eradicating it in our communities, like we have with all these other diseases, is through extensive vaccinations. We want our children to be able to safely attend school in person, and ideally one day, without masks. We can only get there through vaccinations, ensuring the reduction, and hopefully elimination, of Covid in our communities. I support Covid vaccine requirements for all students when the vaccines are approved for their ages, as well as for all staff and teachers.
