No to the Covid 19 vaccine mandate in schools

My son has all of his vaccines. I am a mother that understands the risks of not vaccinating. However, a mandate would be morally wrong. To ignore exemptions including religious contradicts what our country stands for. It’s freedom of choice and to take that from our people would be unjust and immoral. This is the state our country was founded on. Where we celebrated our new freedoms. Exemptions are there to protect these freedoms for families in atypical situations. I know personally with my sister that when there have been reactions to vaccines directly with no other reason Dr.‘s will over look the connection and say “i don’t know” but will not give that person an exemption saying it’s not safe. To strip our children of this choice could be detrimental. If abortion is still a health choice in this state mothers are allowed to make, sticking our children and educators with new things they might not be comfortable or safe with isn’t right. To take their jobs away just as we’ve lost many good nurses we will lose many amazing educators. Children will resort to homeschool strictly due to this mandate And you would be stealing that opportunity of choice from them. So please, please I’m begging you not to move forward with this mandate
