Our schools sanitation levels and ventilation levels are pathetic. I have heard from students and teachers that schools are out of soap, paper towels, and/or toilet paper in the bathrooms. Teachers are expected to sanitize rooms themselves between classes, but were only provided a single container of wipes “until future notice.” Rooms are under ventilated. Fix these things first! Don’t put it on the already overworked teachers and young students to bear the brunt of administrative mistakes and assume the risks of new vaccines and prolonged mask wearing.
