These social-emotional and "equity" standards are nothing more than Marxist, Democrat-pushed  racial identity politics being forced on a captive audience. There are no facts in the standard. Claiming it is "fair" to give some students more because of their race or gender or religion has always been illegal. Yet now VDOE is not only promoting that (unequal treatment), not only enforcing it, you are trying to require kids to parrot an undeniable (and racist and anti-American) values statement in order to graduate.

Listen to the SCOTUS oral arguments in the Mahanoy free speech case. Even the government attorney said students cannot be denied their political views and freedom to speak in schools. Why in the world does VDOE believe it can brainwash these kids? 

It is past time for the radical elements of the Democrat re-education team to be purged from VDOE. Why is it so hard to understand these kids need challenging, and yes tracked, math courses, not Marxist indoctrination in our schools.
