This ideology does not belong in our schools. Focusing on race is regressive not progressive. If we are not allowed to teach religious ideologies is school why are we going to allow political ideologies? This curriculum is wrong on so many levels and does our children no good at all to navigate the world to become productive members of society. The Board of Education should be focusing on education not indoctrination. The ideologies you are proposing use racism to single out children by race and label them as hateful and harmful to others. Imagine if this was focused on any minority in this country and how it would be shut down instantly for being racist. Apply that same logic now to this program and ask yourself, is this really the world I want my kids to grow up in? Where race or group identity, based on immutable characteristics, is the most important thing about a person not their individuality? Stop this now before it’s too late.
