EVV is not appropriate for live in attendants.  They are on call 24 hours a day so it is very difficult to clock in and out for a set shift. Also, they get busy and forget to log in at the appropriate time, which makes them have to manually enter time that may cause an action against them. I hope that live in providers can be afforded exemption from EVV as the federal regulations allow.
