My mom is in the hospital for a bowel blockage caused by scar tissue from cancer surgery over 20 years ago. Last night the nurse told her they wouldn’t help her get to the toilet because it took up too much of their time.  They gave her hooked to a suction tube to the wall suction and and iv plugged to the wall... blood pressure drugs keeping her blood pressure too low .. making her dizzy . Alarm on her bed where they would come and yell at her if she tried to not crap herself... they said they wouldn’t leave her more then 3 hours covered in . I have no care for a 3 year old or my 27 year old son with high level special needs... I tried to hire a company to sit with her .. they don’t have staff ... 

again Virginia DMAS why are you ending consumer directed care with evv? Cause you want people sitting in their own all day?
