This note took a while to compose due to my disability. EVV while being a necessary system for clocking in, is not a good system for adult children like myself whose parents live with us. My parents are constantly working and I need them so much. It is hard to remember the clock because my needs just don't match a clock. I don't even sleep by normal time. I set alarms to remind me to check sign ups, but even that is hard to remember. The number of manual time entries will cause them to lose pay if this system continues for live ins. They quit good jobs to help me. They don't need this. I am fearful of them being accused of fraud from manual entries as well. At their age, they don't need this. Please consider an exception for live ins caregivers.
