STOP EVV ASAP!!

EVV is like slow and painful torture.  The systems keep being tweaked, so it is hard to keep track of how it operates.  We are constantly having to phone to fix things and when we do as instructed the attendant is still not paid for many weeks. With the old system the attendant entered info once a week and the Employer of Record (EOR) approved once a week.  With this EVV system the attendant must do 10 entries (as opposed to 1) and the EOR must to 5 (as opposed to 1).   What good is a system that does not work?   Why are we fixing something that isn’t broken?  People are loosing attendants and it is already so difficult to find good people!  Pretty soon there will be very few services available for the Virginia Medicaid Waiver.  The Independent Auditor needs to know that even though services are listed as available, they are really not available (few providers or sponsoring agencies).  EVV disables the disabled (and I don’t think this was the intention).  Scrap it!
