Virginia Energy Plan

Please do not fall into the trap of "all of the above."  Natural gas is dangerous and always has been.  Two months ago, in June, there was a gas pipeline explosion in Moundsville, W. Virginia .  Luckily no was was ingured that time.   The residents in San Bruno , CA. were not so fortunate.  Eight people lost their lives in the terrible event.  On the average, 18 Americans die each year in natural gas pipeline explosions. There are no recorded deaths in the US relative to solar and wind power.

It has been proven that backup power from batteries can now cover the load "when the wind doesn't blow and the sun doesn't shine."  And it is an economic solution.
