The child care subsidy program is an important resource for families in Virginia.

There are several areas of need that I think need to be considered:

-Absences are not paid for, even if they are medical

-There are guidelines around requiring families to have open child support cases before applying for subsidy.

-We would like parents to have a window of time to find a job with childcare.
