Our school provides education and services from low income families, as with all families, these families encounter issues with health and with family events that are not covered if the students and families need to take an absence, and these days are not paid for, even if they are medical. There are also guidelines that require families to have open child support cases before applying for subsidy. We would like parents to have a window of time to find a job with childcare.
