The policy of not paying for absences when they exceed a certain number is a hardship and a burden for parents who rely on DSS for childcare. We cannot afford to pay for an absence and pay for a baby sitter or miss work. If a child is enrolled it shouldn't matter how many absences they have if they are for illness or other reasons beyond our control.
