I support the CACREP standards and believe that they contribute to consistency within the counseling field.  As a graduate student and a future school counselor I am happy to know that my education is based on specific standards.  I believe these standards contribute to a well-rounded and organized course of study.  I purposely picked a graduate school that is CACREP accredited because I believe that these standards build a strong program and assist in producing well-prepared professionals.
