As a graduate student in a high quality Counseling Psychology program in the state of Maryland, I am writing to express my opposition to a CACREP only standard in Virginia.  This move would be not only harmful to highly qualified non-CACREP graduates who would like to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, but also to Virginia residents by limiting the number of highly qualified mental health practitioners they are able to see.   I strong oppose this regulation.
