It is my responsibility as a student seeking a professional counseling degree to advocate for CACREP/CORE accreditations. I stand behind many others who support this accreditation due to the standards CACREP holds for schools such as the one where I am studying.  With this accreditation we can be confident in assuring each individual we meet with that the standards and quality of our education exceed excellence.  Implementing this accreditation will provide an overall better service to those we serve and will challenge each counselor to be founded on the same standards.  By supporting this accreditation I support the wellbeing of both counselors and clients.
